The Foundation Trousers were designed to modernize formal trousers. Our goal was to reenergize this wardrobe staple with a careful balance of formality, style and comfort.
Key details like a high waist, a cropped length and a tapered fit make our trousers stylish and unique. The patch pocket on the back adds flare to the design while keeping it functional and the skeuomorphic oversized loop with embroidered logo has the SKÉUO play on concept.
The Italian crafted Super 140 wool twill served as the perfect canvas to elevate our design. The weight, strength and shine of this textile brought character, quality and elegance. The fabric was manufactured by renowned luxury mill Piacenza Cashmere, a centuries-old family producer with a social and environmental conscious production.
The trousers have Corozo buttons made in Italy by Bottonificio Padano. These natural buttons were chosen as a sustainable and animal friendly option for hardware. They also hold a dear connection to our founder as Corozo nuts are cultivated in his country of birth, Ecuador, by his grandfather and uncle.
